Hmmmm. This reminds me strongly of Sam’s old coping mechanism… pressing on a serious wound to his hand to ground himself in reality. So, how much of the strong, “I got it” Sam is his usual strategy of fleeing into an appearance of health?
So, we’ve got tons of sigils and tagging appearing in Season 11. I keep thinking of Gadreel saying, “Alter a sigil… even the slightest… Alter the spell.” I wonder if that’s going to significant.
