I’ve been thinking about expanding on and updating my 2009 epic meta on the Family Winchester dynamics. Much like amonitrate’s excellent meta on Dean’s formation, this one expands more on Sam’s formation, focusing on how the family dynamics inform who he is and his choices, and the interactions between the brothers.

What conclusions to draw from this parallel?
I’m betting:
a. Davey, Cole’s older brother is being brought into parallel with Dean and so I’m betting that Davey, too, got turned into something evil.
b. A werewolf, if Cole’s “moons and moons ago” means anything.
c. Dean killed Cole’s older brother.
d. Is Sam going to kill Cole, then?
