El Sol is a fictional beer created by the SPN set design team. While it’s been around for a while, it takes on new meaning in light of the Darkness.

Anyone who has spent even half a semester in a Spanish (like me) could probably identify that El Sol means sun.

I don’t have the screen caps (so if anyone does, feel free to add), but Sam spent the duration of the bar scene with El Sol hovering over his left shoulder.

Dean passed along the responsibility of beating Amara to Sam. Hopefully, this means that he can be the sun that breaks through the darkness once and for all.
