Why is no one talking about this?

In Episode 2, a hammer is featured very prominently and is intended to be used on Sam.

In Episode 3…a hammer is featured very prominently and is intended to be used on Sam.

Now, I couldn’t find anything on hammer symbolism. And I figured, well, I’m just reading too much into it.

And then, I realized, in Episode 3…

There’s a fucking hammer on the ledge behind Dean’s bed, hidden at first and then revealed.

Why is no one talking about this and WTF does it MEEEEAAN?

What’s up with these, anyways?

Yep!  Flags first made an appearance in Season 5.  They kept popping up everywhere. Then one of the main themes was Free Will, making a choice.  Red, white and blue combos re-emerge on the sets and costumes every once in a while ever since then, but have re-emerged in a big way with Season 10.  Here we are again, facing big themes of Free Will, making a choice.

Not only that, but combos of red, white and blue keep showing up in

Lighting:

Clothing:

Flags first made their appearance in Season 5, in which the main theme was Free Will.  That and the use of red, white and blue combinations have come and go across the seasons afterward, but here in the beginning of Season 10 flags have made their presence known in a big way again.  And again, the theme is Free Will. What will you choose?

I poke at the heart but can’t “like” something.

Scrolling sometimes just stops dead and the next set of posts don’t load.

Sometimes images load just fine.  Other times I refresh my dashboard they take forever.

Sometimes I click on the Search Tumbler input box and my saved searches load, sometimes they don’t.

The mobile version on my iPad is even slower.

I’m using Safari.  Tried the new app for Mac and have the same issues.

Anyone else?

Thanks larinah.  After struggling through one too many “reloading” interruptions while trying to watch Netflix, I ended up resetting my modem and things seem to be running much better, now.
