Amnesty International accuses Missouri police of human rights abuses in Ferguson
The reputation of Missouri police just took another major hit.
On Friday, Amnesty International issued a scathing report on the unfolding events in Ferguson, Mo., charging that the behavior of law enforcement authorities both before and after the shooting death of unarmed…

Can someone be kind and explain why when I try to embed a tweet it shows up as text instead of how it looks in the preview? I’ve tried to figure it out but from what I’ve seen it seems as tho I’m doing everything right. Obviously not. Help?
Come on, I know most of you know this, someone tell me what to dooooo
Sigh. Listen followers. I love you all but you are useless.
Well, I’ve been handing out bad advice all day, looks like it might be your turn. I usually screen cap the tweet and post it as a text post so I can associate the link to the original tweet with the photo.

That gifset with Cas telling Sam about being human just illustrates how bad the writing for 10×3 really was. They fucked up that episode and really missed so many opportunities. It just made everything seem off track and made me wonder why Sam is such a washed-out character now. They never let him feel or say anything and they treat him like he has no past or demons of his own.
Yeah, the writers don’t appear to understand Sam at all — not that I’m surprised when it comes to Buckner/Ross-Leming.
that part infuriated me…
It should infuriate everyone. It shouldn’t have been allowed, but you know when you’re the executive producer’s wife, you can write any kind of shit and get away with it.
I hate the way they’re writing Sam and how they’re cheapened the character, I can’t understand it. That line was simply laughable, one more time, Cass patronizing Sam.
I don’t understand what they were going for there. It’s possible they just accidentally put got the names mixed up on the dialogue. I don’t even know.
I feel like too often they just end up shoehorning characters spitting out expository material into the episodes. Instead of the plot and characters informing each other, the characters are sacrificed for the plot, and so one character becomes fairly interchangeable for the other. They become a function, not a person.
How does one respond to responses for a question or ask? I still don’t know how! Blah tumblr.
So when I click the note, it shows my post with the reply, but when I click reblog the reply goes away?
I usually end up copy/pasting the note into the reblog window with a link to the note-leaver. I don’t know of an easier way. That’s what I’ve seen other people do, too. Maybe someone else knows a better way. Not sure that Tumblr is really built for conversations.

One of the basic features in xkit lets you reply to replies and reblogs-with-addition. If your browser supports it I can’t recommend xkit highly enough.
Whoa. I’ve been avoiding xKit because he stopped supporting Safari. Just downloaded it now on your suggestion, and wow, what a revelation. *cries*

I actually really didn’t notice this, because I was too busy being annoyed at Cas’ speech for other reasons. But I’m glad I saw this because you guys are so right. I guess I’m so used to this crop of writers not knowing what they’re doing with Sam. Every one of them should have to sit down and write an essay about who they think Sam is.
Peanut butter sandwich! That’s all I’m going to say. Peanut Butter fuckin’ Sandwich, guys! Again. *headdesk*
Right? RIGHT?!
Personally, I think we need to label all of the ridiculous Tone-Deaf-Captain-Obvious-You-Are-Just-Here-To-Receive-My-Wisdom statements these characters make as “Peanut Butter Sandwiches.”
As in: "Did you see the episode last night? Man, Cas really peanut butter sandwiched Sam, again.“
